Iris looked in the mirror for a long time. She didn’t look different, not exactly. But she felt different.
Darryl: ”What does it say? What does it say?”
Iris: ”Hang on, it’s not done yet!”
Darryl: ”What does it say?”
Iris: ”It’s not–Oh!”
Iris: ”We’re pregnant!”
Iris: ”We are??”
Iris: ”We’re going to be parents!” 😀
Iris: ”Mom! I’ve got to talk to you!”
Summer: ”Can it wait a minute, I’ve got to–”
Iris: ”Mom, I’m pregnant!”
The next day Iris came home from work with a promotion. And ‘morning’ sickness.
Darryl came home from work with a promotion of his own, but with a sense of pride and happiness rather than the morning sickness.
Urgh, so unfair!
Darryl: ”I know you’re hurting, babe, but it’ll be worth it. I’m here for you!”
It’ll be worth it…
Luckily there were plenty of happy moments as well!
Iris and Darryl also spent some time preparing for the big event, reading every baby book they could find.
Iris: ”This doesn’t sound too hard!”
Though highly pregnant, Iris would never dream to put away her childish things… like the cool frogs around Newcrest, never!
Iris: ”Oi, grim! Are you doing this–Arghh!”
Turns out a woman couldn’t even fish in peace, the baby had some different plans…
Welcome to the Ivey legacy, baby boy Tatum.
Iris: ”I made this!”
Cue baby and proud parental cuteness spam!
Oops, some other kind of spam got in here, too… 😉
