Dear Diary,
Life here at Ivey Lane is kind of dull. I mean, I’m still the awesome and interesting creature I’ve always been, of course. Duh.
I’ve managed to get pretty good with my experiments.
The girls are as stupid as ever!
Sometimes I worry about grandma Summer. She seems a little bit sad. Apparently grandpa Paolo was eaten by a cowplant. I don’t know, this family seems weird enough for that to be true. Apparently they actually lived in the park once upon a time!
Sierra: ”My turn to use the computer!”
Noelle: ”Ooooooooh shiiiiny lights…”
Really? REALLY!?
Luckily, Sierra is a big baby. She got scared by a ‘monster under the bed’, pssh!
She woke the entire house up with her whining!
Mom wasn’t too happy about that, she passed out just as she got home from work.
Dad looked really sleepy, too, but I think he did a good job at hiding it, because he got a promotion that day. Hah.
Oh flark!! Uhhh… I take it back. Monsters under the bed aren’t so silly after all.
Dad helped me spray my bed, hopefully that’ll help.
Grandma got a birthday party. Kind of lame.
She’s like really, really old now!
And not that anyone cares, but I grew up too. Stupid family!
I’m still awesome!
I’m a bit of a loner, I guess… And I think I want to be a bestselling author when I grow up. This writing thing is kind of neat. And you don’t have to hang out with people, either!
Mom doesn’t really get it, she’s all ”One day you’ll meet a nice girl”… Bah!
Writing is easy, why would I need to go out and meet a girl, when there are so many awesome fictional ones?
Mom and Dad try WAY too hard to be a big and happy family, like mandatory family dinners together all of us. Pssh!
Noelle had a birthday, and of course she got a cake…
The insane sister of mine grew up cheerful, and she says she wants to be a freelance botanist, just like grandma. Like… get your own thing??
Sierra is still a little kid, but I’m sure Noelle told her all about growing up and hormones and whatnot, because she couldn’t get out of there quick enough, ha ha.
This family is getting worse and worse at the mandatory family mealtimes… Thank god!
