Perhaps they were moving fast, but Robyn had never felt so sure about anything in her life. She loved her family dearly, but starting a family of her own was what was written in the stars for her. With the man of her dreams by her side.
With a new baby on the way, they really had no time to waste, either. Luckily her grandma Deb’s old wedding dress fit her even in her delicate state, and she and Manu opted for a wedding at dawn.
The sun came up just as they shared their fist kiss as husband and wife.
It was a small, but sweet ceremony.
Kelsey proudly took the place behind the bar, remembering what a disaster the bartender at her own wedding had been!
Speaking of disasters…
Tyler’s looking a bit… pale?
Whyyyyyy? The local hipster/hobo pretty much sums up my thoughts right now…
Despite Kelsey’s begging, on this day – the day of her daughter’s wedding and all, Grim was ruthless!
This wasn’t how Robyn wanted her special day to be remembered!
On that note, the party kind of came to a halt. The guests had been up since before dawn, and this put kind of a damper on their mood.
What a… day.
Robyn’s stomach was getting bigger by the minute, the baby growing at a healthy pace. She couldn’t help but pondering… spending more time by the gravestones in the yard.
Both her and Manu spoke warmly to the belly about the family and about the relatives that had helped build the city of Newcrest.
Manu: ”You’re going to be very, very important when you grow up!”
Robyn: ”We’re important, dear!”
Robyn made sure to spend a lot of time with her mother, who was surprisingly good at calming her pregnancy brain, giving some good advice for the mother to be.
And not before long, it was time!
Manu: ”I-i-it’s going to be okay!”
Robyn: ”Oh I know, dear!”
Don’t you worry, poor pregnant doctor, it’ll be your time soon!
Doctor: ”That’s what I’m worried about!”
Welcome, baby girl Jayda!
