The Ivey Legacy 7.1: Change

ivey7_1-1

New generation – new home! This will soon be transformed into Newcrest’s museum, but for now it’s Ivey Promenade #8.

It’s got a little low-level partition in the living room, for various family activities.

The kids have plenty of space to study.

Plus Nelson’s creative space with his career objects.

The lot is available for download here!

In all the excitement we I missed Nelson’s birthday! ◉︵◉

ivey7_1-10

Welcome to adulthood….

ivey7_1-11

Dane, being an evil little son of a plum, goes straight to ruining their doll house. This is why we can’t have nice things!

ivey7_1-12

The house has quite the artistic vibes, apparently, since all the adults do is paint…

ivey7_1-13

…paint…

ivey7_1-14

…and paint some more. Of course, this could have something to do with the fact that I put them all in a family group (the Ivey League yeah I know) where everyone’s feeling inspired all the time, and awesome activities to do include painting and doing your homework… It’s like the perfect babysitter for all my sims! 😀

But let’s just say it’s the vibes of the future museum. Yeah.

ivey7_1-15

Itzel’s feeling the vibes. Clearly.
Alternatively, she’s wondering if the almighty SimGod’s lost her marbles. No more than usual, sweetheart. No more than usual. Haven’t seen most of ’em in a long while, nooo…

Nelson: ”So, the horse can move…”
London: ”Why would I want the horse when I have a robot?”

ivey7_1-17

Nelson: ”No, you see, right now the horse can take the tower.”
London: ”The robot can take everyone! Pew pew! Can I go play on the computer instead?”
Nelson: ”Sigh… Fine.”

We’re burning the midnight oil here, the entire family (plus guests) have been skilling their little hearts out all day long from early morning. I think it’s time to send the Ivey league home and to bed, respectively.

ivey7_1-20

First, we have to get rid of the monster under the bed, though!

ivey7_1-21

It’s not all work and no play in the house, I swear! Robyn’s out for a relaxing fishing trip.

…which I guess is work, too, since it’s her new aspiration. Uhm… Carry on.

ivey7_1-22

It’s London’s birthday!

ivey7_1-23

Oh my god, HELLO! ♡

ivey7_1-25

London grew up with the geek trait and the big happy family aspiration.

ivey7_1-26

A redheaded, geeky violin player… I think my game spat out Felicia Day!

ivey7_1-27

Not to play favorites or anything (oh, who am I kidding, I totally am!) but I couldn’t decide on an outfit for London, so she got multiple everyday outfits…

ivey7_1-28

Dale: ”Mommmmmmmm! Can I have a birthday too? I want presents and to be grown up and cool and especially the presents!”
Itzel: ”Oh, uhm…”

ivey7_1-29

London: ”You have to pass the ritual first?”
Dale: ”What ritual??”
London: ”Oh, like I’d tell you…”
Dale: ”No, no, come on! You’ve gotta! What’s the ritual?? Mooom!”
London: ”Okay, the ritual is that you have to be good, and finish your homework every day. Every day! And you have to really study, because you have to learn how to invent the magic potion. You getting all this?”
Dale: ”Yeah, yeah, homework, potion… then what??”
London: ”Then you have to let the potion sit for a week in your inventory, before you can drink it. You have to drink it at sunrise. Then later that day, you’ll grow up!”
Dale: ”Wow, really?”
London: ”Really.”
