The Ivey Legacy 9.4: Back in the game

No – you’re not seeing double, and no you didn’t miss an update. We were in the middle of yet another party when I got the baby pop-up and since I didn’t want to stop the party by sending all of the hosts away I clicked “Send alone” without really thinking that I sent Felipe alone to the hospital. But he came back with not one baby, but two… This is Marc and Lexie.

Yep. This’ll be fun.

ivey9_4-4

Come meet the family, kids!

River: ”I think maybe I’ve had too much juice, I’m seeing two babies!”
Amelia: ”You’re an idiot.”

ivey9_4-6

The babies are having a very weird kind of vitiligo, where their skin changes color when they’re out of the crib, and then back to a darker shade once they’re back. Completely normal. And healthy. Raising kids in a nightclub is totally safe. I swear.

Anyways, look! They got a kids room and everything! It’s… dance floor adjacent, but it’ll do! Right? Look, we even sacrificed the home cinema for this!

ivey9_4-8

Amelia: ”Maybe if I just keep ignoring it, it’ll stop screaming…”

ivey9_4-9

Finally, someone who knows what they’re doing! Even weird vitiligo babies need their diaper changed, people!

ivey9_4-10

Felipe’s busy working on his dad bod…

Ugh…. Whatever, Trev! >.>

ivey9_4-12

Let’s go party to forget about him once and for all! And to have a party at different unique locations…

ivey9_4-13

Felipe could feel the burn of several pairs of eyes looking his direction. Once he was rid of the baby belly he was back to his old self… In theory. He wondered… What if…? The cheerleader was clearly checking him out, and maybe…

ivey9_4-14

Maybe it could be that simple?

Cheerleader: ”So… You wanna get out of here?”

ivey9_4-19

Felipe: ”Yeah, I do. Alone. Bye. Eww.”
Cheerleader: ”What…?”

ivey9_4-20

Felipe: ”Hey there, I’m Felipe. You and me are gonna dance now!”
Aaron: ”Uh… Okay. I’m Aaron.”

ivey9_4-21

Cheerleader: ”Keep calm… Just breathe. This has never happened before, why should it happen now? It’ll be okay… He can’t reject me!”

ivey9_4-22

Cheerleader: ”Ooh! Hottie!”

ivey9_4-23ivey9_4-24

Cheerleader: ”Seriously? Seriously!? I’m out of here!”

ivey9_4-25

Felipe’s doing okay. This feels much better… He even managed to get some digits!

ivey9_4-26

…among other things 🙂

ivey9_4-28

All in all, it was a good evening.

ivey9_4-29

Felipe had just made it home and kicked back on the couch with the sim-pad, when he realized that Aaron had already texted him to say ‘thank you’ for the nice evening. Felipe felt all kinds of tingly while writing his reply.

ivey9_4-30

Felipe had only just sent his reply when the speech bubble indicating that Aaron was typing appeared almost immediately – and they were off! They ended up chatting until the wee hours of the night, and didn’t stop until they’d decided to meet up the following evening.

ivey9_4-31

Aaron: ”Hey there, cutie! It’s good to see you.”

ivey9_4-32

Felipe: ”Shall we? This is the Ivey Lounge…”

ivey9_4-34

Aaron: ”Well, isn’t this fancy?”
Felipe: ”You know, I used to live here…”

ivey9_4-35

Aaron: ”Oh, in that case, I take it back. Not fancy at all!”

ivey9_4-36

Felipe: ”Let me show you the best part!”
Aaron: ”Which part is that?”

ivey9_4-37ivey9_4-38ivey9_4-39

Felipe: ”This.”

ivey9_4-41

Aaron: ”Phew, I must say… that was nice!”
Felipe: ”Right?”

ivey9_4-43

The date was everything Felipe could’ve dreamed of – and more! Aaron was sweet, charming, very pleasing on the eyes, and it felt like they could just talk for hours… or just sit quietly with one another…

Things were looking up!
